By adding an External Account for transfers, I agree to the following: I understand I am giving my authorization to allow electronic transfers to and from my account at another Financial Institution, residing within the United States, to or from my Together Credit Union accounts, via the External Transfer feature of OnlineAccess. I understand transfers to and from my External Account will be via the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system. I understand my exact External Account information is necessary for ACH transfers to be completed successfully. The Credit Union will not be responsible for failing to complete the ACH transfer if I give the Credit Union incorrect information. I understand two small deposits (i.e $0.20 and $0.50) and one equal withdrawal (i.e. $0.70) will be made to my External Account to validate my ownership of and access to the account. I will have to enter the two small deposit amounts into OnlineAccess to validate and activate my External Account.
I understand my External Account transfer requests will be processed within two business days of my chosen Processing Date, and my requests may take up to four business days to become effective. I understand that a fee will be assessed to my Credit Union account if a transfer is returned unpaid for insufficient or uncollected funds. I understand that the outgoing transfer will be debited from my Credit Union account on the scheduled transfer date. I also understand that a processing fee will be charged to my Credit Union account for each outgoing or expedited transfer completed. I also understand the Credit Union will keep an electronic record of my request. I may obtain a copy of this record for a fee by contacting the Credit Union. I understand that fees associated with the transfer are non-refundable.
The Credit Union will not be liable for ACH transfers contrary to my requests unless the transfer is caused by the Credit Union's negligence and causes actual loss to me. The Credit Union's liability shall not exceed the amount of the ACH transfer request in any event. I agree to reimburse the Credit Union for any loss it sustains honoring this request.
I understand it is my responsibility to update the Credit Union regarding changes to my personal information including, but not limited to, my address, phone number, and email address. If I do not notify the Credit Union of my changes, I may not receive important notices regarding my account(s) and this request. No additional hardware or software is needed to submit External Account transfer requests other than what is listed in the OnlineAccess Online Agreement. All future correspondence regarding this request should be by mail, phone or OnlineAccess' Secure Support.
